PHOTO CONTEST sponsored by Canine Company

This may seem obvious, but at Guiding Eyes, we’re crazy about dogs, and we absolutely LOVE photographs of dogs working, playing and simply enjoying life.

Our first photo contest of 2014 opens TODAY, February 5^th and closes on February 19^th.  Photos will be judged by Guiding Eyes staff and winners will be announced via Facebook and the Guiding Eyes website during the week of February 24^th.  Photos will be judged on quality and on the health and happiness of the dogs pictured.   THREE photos may be submitted for consideration per person / family.

Each of the three photos will need to be entered into one of these categories:

• Guiding Eyes dogs  – For any dog bred through Guiding Eyes for the Blind.  This includes guide dogs, autism service dogs, pups on program, dogs in training, breeding colony dogs and released dogs.   If your dog is a Guiding Eyes pup, please include his or her tattoo number.  (If you’re not sure of the number or don’t remember, that’s OK too.)

• Canine Comrades – For all of the other wonderful dogs in our lives. 

Three prizes will be awarded in each category:

• 1st place: $50 Gift Card to CanineCompany.com and a behind the scenes tour of Guiding Eyes for the Blind
• 2nd place: $25 Gift Card to CanineCompany.com
• 3rd place: Canine Company product bundle, valued at approximately $20.

Here’s how to enter:

• Email your high resolution photo to info@guidingeyes.org between February 5^th and 19^th.
• Include your dog’s name in the photo description.
• All photos must be submitted digitally – no photos can be accepted by mail.
• *Please remember – only three photos per person/family can be entered.

SPECIAL NOTES:

By entering the contest, you are giving Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Canine Company the unrestricted right and permission to use your photograph for any and all public relations and marketing materials.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind will add your email address to our newsletter distribution list.  You can opt out of these mailings at any time.
