From: I-684 North

When traveling North on I-684, stay to the left when approaching the exit for I-84. (Do not exit onto I-84.) Continue on I-684, which will become NY Rte 22. follow Rte 22 North toward Brewster and Pawling. Follow the directions below From NY Rte. 22 Heading North.

From: Maine

Take the Maine Turnpike, I-95 South, to I-495 South just past the Massachusetts border. Follow I-495 south about 53 miles to I-290. Follow I-290 about 23 miles and get on the Mass Turnpike, I-90 west, for one exit. Leave I-90 at Sturbridge on I-84. Take I-84 West through Hartford to exit 20 in New York State. This is the exit for I-684 for White Plains and Pawling. Take the right fork toward Pawling and onto NY Rte 22.

From: New Jersey

Take the NJ Turnpike into Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge. After crossing the bridge, exit at Henry Hudson Parkway north and follow directions below From New York City via Henry Hudson Parkway.

From: New York City – East Side via Major Deegan Expressway

After crossing the Triborough or Willis Avenue Bridge, travel north on the Major Deegan Expressway, which becomes the New York State Thruway. Exit the Thruway at Exit 7A, Saw Mill River parkway. Continue north on the Saw Mill through Katonah; then exit left onto I-684. Follow direction above From I-684 North.

From: New York City – West Side via Henry Hudson Parkway

Travel North on the Henry Hudson. This becomes the Saw Mill River Parkway shortly after you pay the first toll. Continue north on the Saw Mill through Katonah; then exit left onto I-684 North. Follow direction above From I-684 North.

From: NY Rte. 22 Heading North

I-684 becomes NY Rte 22 at Brewster. Travel approximately 5 miles north into the township of Patterson. As you descend a long hill with four lanes, watch for a rather inconspicuously marked NY Rte 164 intersection at a yellow blinking light. Turn left onto Rte. 164 and follow west approximately one mile to the Canine Development Center. On the left, look for a pond and a Guiding Eyes sign at the end of a long driveway. Guiding Eyes is a light gray building.

From: Upstate New York via New York State Thruway

Leave the Thruway at Exit 17, Newburgh. Take I-84 East and follow signs across the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. Continue on I-84 East to Exit 18, NY 311 North and Patterson. Turn left at the exit ramp onto NY 311 and go approximately 2 miles to where NY 164 branches down hill to the right. Take NY 164 through three dangerously narrow railroad underpasses and then less than a mile to the Canine Development Center on your right. If you come to the intersection with NY Rte 22, you will have gone nearly a mile too far.
