Coming soon: The Guiding Eyes Puppy Project for Employers

At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, we change lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary dogs. But we don’t do it alone. You are a critical part of the Guiding Eyes story …

When you host a Guiding Eyes Puppy Project, your company “adopts” an adorable Guiding Eyes puppy and sets a goal to raise the amount it takes to get your puppy from birth to guide dog training to support throughout the team’s partnership and into a happy retirement.

The Puppy Project: Great for Employee Engagement and Morale

  • Stress is a real issue in today’s workplaces. Playing with or petting a dog can increase levels of the stress-reducing hormone oxytocin and decrease production of the stress hormone cortisol. Interacting with a dog can even lower blood pressure. *
  • 74% of employees say their job is more fulfilling when they have opportunities to make a positive impact at work – for Millennials, it’s 88%. **

The Puppy Project combines both stress relief and the chance to make the world a little better. This extraordinary journey all starts with a puppy – and you.
