“The Fulton Lions Club is both the largest and most active in our district,” said Steve Chirello, Fulton club president. “Successful events like our Duck Derby, Lions Loot and White Cane Days help us provide assistance in a variety of ways to the people of Fulton. This year alone, we’ve donated more than $7,000 in free eyeglasses and eye examinations. Over the years, the Fulton Lions Club has helped pay for eye operations, donated closed caption television equipment, contributed to seeing eye dog training and recycled thousands of pairs of eyeglasses.”
Lions will be stationed at Struppler’s Fulton Big M Market, 909 W. First St.; Rite Aid, S. Second St.; and at Walmart Super Center, Rt. 3.
For further information, contact Chirello at 592-9778.
