Happy Holidays from Guiding Eyes

 In News & Events

Guiding Eyes grads Joe Mauk and Roxanne pose with a Christmas tree displayThis holiday season, please join me in applauding the men and women who are determined to live their lives to the fullest, despite their vision loss.  Deciding to come to Guiding Eyes is proof of their will to succeed; their tremendous courage during the weeks of intensive training – and every day of their lives – serves as an inspiration to us all.

Our students and graduates are assisted in their endeavors by the Guiding Eyes ”family” that includes staff, puppy raisers and volunteers.  These compassionate individuals give freely of their time and encouragement and, in doing so, experience the joy of helping others.

A special thank-you goes out to our loyal and generous donors, who make all that we do possible.  I hope your hearts are filled with gladness to know that thousands of Guiding Eyes graduates throughout America and overseas are celebrating the holidays with a very special gift: the independence and love that their guide dogs have brought to their lives.

As we move forward into 2013, maintaining our high standards of excellence stays a top priority.  With your support, Guiding Eyes will continue our tradition of providing the highest quality dogs, training and services to benefit our blind and visually impaired students and our families with children with autism.

From all of us at Guiding Eyes, we extend to you and your loved ones our heartfelt wishes for a joyous season and a happy and healthy New Year.
