Estate and Charitable Gift Planning

We’re grateful that you’re considering a donation to support our life-changing work through your estate plan.  A gift through your will or living trust provides Guiding Eyes with the fiscal foundation that ensures the continued strength of our extraordinary programs and services.  In addition, there are other charitable gift planning opportunities that may help you meet your financial goals while also securing our future.

  • A Guiding Eyes for the Blind Charitable Gift Annuity offers generous, dependable payments for life. You can support our organization while enjoying tax benefits and possibly, increased income, for yourself or another.
  • Naming Guiding Eyes for the Blind as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts, security accounts or life insurance policies is a wonderful way to provide a future benefit to Guiding Eyes which costs you nothing during your lifetime.

Pathfinder Society

The Pathfinder Society was established to honor generous supporters who have remembered us in their estate plans.

We acknowledge the membership and express our gratitude through a commemorative certificate, a small gift of appreciation, and an opportunity to be “partnered” with a Guiding Eyes pup.  During their partnership, members receive photos and written updates on the pup’s progress in our guide dog program.  Members are also invited to Pathfinder Society gatherings and special events at Guiding Eyes and in their home areas. These invitations offer them an opportunity to meet staff and graduates with their Guiding Eyes dogs and become more closely acquainted with the exceptional work of the organization.
