I have been a Mount Kisco Lion for ten years.  It’s a close-knit group committed to serving the community as well as supporting the mission of Guiding Eyes.  One of the things I find most appealing is that the Mount Kisco Lions club not only understands the value of supporting Guiding Eyes but also the potential of people who are blind to be active and productive members of the community.

The club has held numerous fund-raisers for Guiding Eyes – including a motorcycle ride last summer in which I rode 70 miles on the back of a bike.  No, my guide dog did not ride along!  But my guide dog is a vital partner in my life, allowing me the freedom and confidence to travel in my community and beyond.

On Wednesday, April 3, our club will be hosting a bowling fundraiser at Grand Prix New York – 333 North Bedford Rd in Mt Kisco, NY.  Proceeds benefit Guiding Eyes and North East Westchester Special Recreation.  Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.  Order now by calling Lion Bob at 914.760.0014.  You can learn more by checking out our website – www.mountkiscolionsclub.org.

Thanks for your support – and please spread the word!
