I have worked with dogs from Guiding Eyes since 1997.  I received my first three dogs through the residential training program.  I’ve very much enjoyed going to the school – meeting new people and learning new techniques.

When I retired my third dog Chesley in March of this year, I thought I’d go into class as always.  I was excited to learn I’d been approved to receive a dog through the Home Training Program.

Time went moving along as it does so well, and sometime in May I found out that I’d begin my training on June 12th.  That day came, and Gary arrived at my home with a little black lab female named Gemini.  We did all sorts of fun things, including work in stores and on country roads – places I travel frequently.

We have now been a successful team for just over two months and I pray that we have many more years together.  Once again, I’ve been given the perfect guide at just the right time in my life.  I am so grateful for all I’ve been able to accomplish, thanks to Guiding Eyes.
