At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, we are committed to fostering life-changing connections between our students and their guide dogs. This September, over 361 participants logged more than 7,000 miles to celebrate National Guide Dog Month, and raise crucial funds to support Guiding Eyes’ mission.
Our community joined together – whether hitting the pavement with their four-legged partners or contributing through donations of all sizes. Our puppy raisers give so much throughout the year, and last month, more than 60 went the extra 26.2 miles, along with over 50 of our graduate guide dog teams, as well as many others with pet dogs of all sizes. We are grateful to all of you!
