April 27 Quarterly Call (4/2025)

Hello Guiding Eyes Family,

It’s time for our Spring Graduate Council Quarterly Call. We invite you to join us on Sunday, April 27, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern for a special forum titled: “Learning about Where GEB Started to Guide Us into the Future.” All from the Guiding Eyes community are welcome to attend. Zoom details and call-in options are below.

We’ll open the call with a welcome message from Eduardo Andrade, Interim President and CEO. Eduardo will provide a few updates on the current transition and discuss his priorities for the coming months.

We’ll then take a walk down guide dog memory lane together, reflecting on our shared history and looking ahead to the future. The light-hearted discussion will feature a distinguished roundtable of current and former Guiding Eyes staff, graduates, and puppy raisers. The forum will be interactive, offering space for participants to share insights, ask questions, and recognize the remarkable GEB community. We’ll discuss the history of the school and how the experiences of the past can inspire future success.

Special guest Geoff Lock, who began working at GEB in 1965, will offer some opening comments and join the discussion. Over the years, the school has built up an incredible network of dedicated and talented individuals, from staff to dog trainers to volunteers and puppy raisers. We’re honored to be a part of this supportive and caring community!
