Guiding Eyes operates out of two main locations in New York’s Hudson Valley, north of New York City.
Guiding Eyes’ 10-acre campus in Yorktown Heights, NY, is our organization’s headquarters – home to our administrative offices, student facilities, kennels and a veterinary hospital. This is where our dogs live while receiving their professional training, and where our students live while learning how to work with their new dog. Learn more about our Headquarters in Yorktown…
Potential Guiding Eyes guide dogs get their start at our 30-acre Canine Development Center in Patterson, NY, home to everything from breeding, birthing, socializing, and screening to placing high-potential puppies in loving, nurturing puppy-raising homes. It includes a puppy training pavilion, expanded kennels, open living areas, outdoor areas for off-leash exercise and an expansive veterinary hospital. Learn more about our Puppy Center in Patterson…
Our fully accessible field-training center in White Plains, NY, supports multiple aspects of fulfilling our mission, including easy access to both city and residential environments for student training. Our students and staff work routes with access to traffic lights, escalators, busy sidewalks, train platforms and bus depots. Opened in January 2024, the space includes training area, workspace, lounge areas, a kitchenette and a conference room, available for administrative meetings, as well as evening classes for future guide dogs and their puppy raisers.
Maintaining health and well-being for our world-class canines is of the utmost importance to us at Guiding Eyes.
