Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts

Support our work through your work

Workplace Giving

For Employees

Many companies offer an employee giving program in their workplace, making it easy to donate.  If your company has a matching gift program, your gift to Guiding Eyes will have an even greater impact.

Below you’ll find information on different programs, however if you’d like to know more about the various ways to donate through your employer, please contact your Corporate Social Responsibility or Human Resources department.

Employee Giving Platforms: If your employer utilizes an employee giving platform, you can select Guiding Eyes for the Blind Federation, Inc. as the beneficiary of your donations. You can find us on: Benevity, YourCause, Bright Funds and CyberGrants. Guiding Eyes for the Blind’s Federal Tax ID Number (EIN) is 13-1854606.

Payroll Deduction: Guiding Eyes for the Blind participates in many employer-sponsored payroll deduction campaigns. Some companies allow you to set up automatic, tax-deductible donations right from your paycheck. Be sure to reach out to your employer’s Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility team to ask how you can sign up for donations made through payroll deductions.

Federal Employees: The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the official workplace giving campaign for the federal community, offering federal employees and retirees the opportunity to support the causes they care about. If you are a federal employee, you can support the work of Guiding Eyes for the Blind with your CFC pledge. Please use our CFC #10248 during the annual campaign (typically September – December) to help make a difference.

State and Local Government Employees: Look for Guiding Eyes for the Blind under your workplace giving program. Matching Gift Programs

Workplace Giving is a simple and convenient way to support Guiding Eyes for the Blind while multiplying the impact of your gift. Many employers offer matching gift programs that double or even triple charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies also offer matching gifts for their employees’ volunteer hours!

Please check below, or with your Human Resources Department, to see if your company offers a matching gift program and follow their instructions. You can email any documentation to Lindsay at lromel@guidingeyes.org.
