Your Impact

Guiding Eyes is more than just a guide dog organization.  Together with our dedicated staff, hardworking volunteers, and generous donors, we work towards a common purpose: to help individuals who are blind or with vision loss define their own future with our exceptional guide dogs at their side. Without the ongoing support of our generous donors and volunteers, we would not be able to accomplish our mission. We are forever grateful for your support. Thank you.

Our Mission

Guiding Eyes has nearly 70 years of experience in providing guide dogs to people with vision loss.  We estimate that more than 10,000 service dog teams have graduated since our founding in 1954.  Approximately 100 guide dogs are placed annually, and more than 1,700 volunteers support our mission.

The Graduates of Guiding Eyes

Guiding Eyes for the Blind helps give those with vision loss greater independence in their day-to-day lives, and simultaneously inspires others to help make these life changing connections possible. Each Guiding Eyes graduate has a unique story of life changing events, challenges,  determination, and triumph. Thanks to the support of our amazing donors and volunteers, we have been able to tell the happy ending to these stories for the past 60 plus years.

At our 46th Annual Golf Classic in June of 2023, we were privileged to hear the compelling story of one of our graduates, Ashley and of her partnership with Guiding Eyes dog, Lolly.  She shares her inspirational journey in the video below.
