About Our Mission

Guiding Eyes is committed to our mission: providing guide dogs to people with vision loss.  As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we provide all services completely free of charge, relying upon the contributions of our generous donors to fulfill our mission.

  • More than 500 pups are born annually.
  • More than 10,000 guide dog teams have graduated.
  • More than 150 guide dogs are placed annually.
  • More than 1,700 volunteers support our mission.

Guiding Eyes knows that every person who is blind is different from the next.ย  We create a special partnership between each student andย their guide dog โ€“ and support that partnership throughout their lives together.ย  We are known for our individualized programs, free services, proprietary relationship-based training, lifetime support, and of course โ€“ our exceptional guide dogs.
