  • More than 500 pups are born annually.
  • More than 10,000 guide dog teams have graduated.
  • More than 150 guide dogs are placed annually.
  • More than 1,700 volunteers support our mission.

About Our People

People who work at Guiding Eyes are motivated, hard-working, optimistic and dedicated.  We are passionate about connecting exceptional dogs with individuals for greater independence.  And of course, we love dogs.

At Guiding Eyes, you’ll find challenging and fulfilling career paths, a comprehensive benefits package and a dog-friendly work environment.

Why Guiding Eyes?

When you become a part of the Guiding Eyes’ team, you’ll be joining a network of people coming from different backgrounds and perspectives, but with one common and simple mission: to connect exceptional guide dogs with people with vision loss at no cost, so they can experience a life of opportunity and independence.

Guiding Eyes knows that every person who is blind is different from the next.  We create a special partnership between each student and their guide dog – and support that partnership throughout their lives together.  We are known for our individualized programs, free services, proprietary relationship-based training, lifetime support, and of course – our exceptional guide dogs.

You’ll also enjoy these added benefits:

  • Guiding Eyes provides eligible employees with a full range of benefits, including 403(b) retirement, health insurance (medical, dental and vision), life insurance and short-term/long-term disability insurance.
  • Our employees enjoy a competitive paid time off (PTO) package, including holidays, personal, floating days and sick.
  • We are a dog-friendly workplace, and upon approval, many staff members bring personal dogs to work.

Diversity & Inclusion

People who are blind or visually impaired are part of a diverse community, and Guiding Eyes respects the importance of reflecting the same diversity among our employees and volunteers.  We are an inclusive (and dog-friendly!) workplace, and accommodations can be made available.
