Guiding Eyes for the Blind is thrilled to announce our recent appearance on AKC.tv’s “AKC Good Dog TV”. The American Kennel Club’s series is dedicated to sharing stories of dogs and their relationship with the people who love them.
In our feature, viewers are introduced to our community of people working together to make a difference in the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals. The video includes interviews with Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, (GDMI), Susan Kroha, who explains the importance of guide dogs learning “intelligent disobedience”, and our President and CEO, Thomas Panek, who discusses our innovative harness designs and the wellness benefits provided by our Running Guides Program.
We want to thank AKC.tv for featuring our organization in their incredible series, and helping us spread the word about our organization’s amazing mission of changing lives by providing exceptional guide dogs to those in need.
