If you’re an Orientation and Mobility Specialist or student—or you know someone who is—our hands-on seminars can be a valuable addition to your training.
The seminars are offered between April and November, and will help you better understand what guide dogs do, how to advise clients who are considering a guide dog, and how to work more effectively with clients who have guide dogs. You’ll also have a chance to work with a senior Guide Dog Instructor and walk under blindfold with a dog in harness.
