We’re excited to share that graduate Arturo and his guide dog Vangie were featured in a New York Living segment on Pix11, highlighting Giving Tuesday. Their “Tail-Waggin’ Tuesday” spot focused on Guiding Eyes for the Blind, our Giving Tuesday 3x match initiative, and the guide dog training process.
Arturo spoke passionately about the tremendous impact Vangie has made on his life and emphasized that community donations enable our organization to provide exceptional guide dogs free of charge. Vangie, as expected, won over the hearts of the two TV hosts. She lay calmly on the floor, enjoying the gentle attention she received from one during the interview, while the other described her as “such a calm soul”. We’re confident she gained many fans throughout the Metropolitan area!
