Eyes on Success Podcast

Eyes on Success, is an award winning, half hour weekly podcast and radio program, that discusses a wide variety of topics of interest to the visually impaired, with a focus on success. Some episodes are human stories of visually impaired people’s accomplishments in academics, employment, sports or pasttimes. Others are descriptions of adaptive aids that enable visually impaired people to achieve things.

Eyes On Success is hosted and produced by Peter Torpey and Nancy Goodman Torpey, who recently spoke with Guiding Eyes staff members, Bill Ma, Director of IT and Operations and Jessy DiNapoli, Manager of Admissions. They discussed Guiding Eyes CEO and avid runner, Thomas Panek’s collaboration with Google Research on “Project Guideline”,  an early stage research project aimed at enabling those with vision loss to run independently, and the app that allowed Thomas to experience the freedom of running on his own.
