We are pleased to share that on Friday, September 2nd, Guiding Eyes for the Blind was featured on GMA3: What You Need to Know, an extension of ABC’s national morning show Good Morning America.
In the segment, Guiding Eyes’ CEO Thomas Panek shared Guiding Eyes’ mission, along with the importance and impact of the organization. He detailed the Puppy Raising Program and the Running Guide Program, which has not only changed his life, but fellow runners as well. Marin Baumer, a May 2021 graduate, was also featured with her guide dog Kegan. She explained what having a guide dog by her side has meant to her.
An array of video clips and photos of Guiding Eyes volunteers, students, instructors, and of course dogs and puppies, were also showcased throughout the entire segment.
