Eli Manning, a longtime supporter and current board member of our organization, joined Pat Browne III, a friend to Eli and Guiding Eyes, on the golf course with guide dogs Angel, a black-coated Shepherd, Lavender, a yellow Lab, and Jett, a black Lab. Pat’s father, Pat Browne Jr., was a champion blind golfer who played a pivotal role in pioneering the sport.
A team of golfers poses for a group photo with Eli during a break on the course. Guide dog Lavender, wearing a blue Unifly harness, tilts her head questioningly as she looks towards the photographer, whose back can be seen in the foreground. Angel, in traditional harness, and Jett, also in a Unifly, sit in front of the golfers, as well.
A golfer, with putter in hand, holds his position on the green as the ball rolls towards the hole, while two other golfers stand by and watch closely, anticipating the moment it reaches its target.
Guest Graduate Speaker Bill Smith and wife Lisa stand at a grand entrance at Mount Kisco Country Club, flanked by Interim President & CEO and Board Member, Eduardo Andrade; Board President, John Donnelly; Board Member Eli Manning; and Pat Browne III. Bill’s yellow Lab guide dog Quidditch lies in front of them, along with his retired guide dog, yellow Lab, Ed. Visit the Your Impact page to watch a video of Bill Smith’s moving speech.
A participant and football fan stands on the green next to Eli Manning proudly holding the front page of a NYC newspaper celebrating Eli’s win with the NY Giants at Super Bowl 46 with the headline “Champs” and a triumphant photo of MVP, Eli, with the Lombardi trophy.
Guiding Eyes Guide Dog Mobility Instructors Dan, Louise and Allie attend the event with guide dogs Lavender, Jett and Angel in harness, sitting patiently in front of them as they stand on the sprawling green golf course.
A group of four gentlemen enjoy conversation and refreshments at an outside table on the Country Club open porch while attending the Cocktail Reception.
Yellow Lab puppy, and mascot of the Ball Toss, Solomon, has done his job well, having chosen the winning blue tennis ball and holding it proudly in his mouth. Next job… Guiding Eyes guide dog.
Three participants stand side by side on Country Club grounds and each gentleman holds a cuddly Guiding Eyes Lab puppy, known for bringing smiles to faces.
An attendee gets a very warm welcome from black Lab puppy, Sarge as he climbs up to plant a big kiss on her face, which is clearly surprised as Sarge comes in enthusiastically.
A group of five participants enjoy a photo opp with Eli who graciously stands in the middle. In front of the women and Eli are guides Lavender, Angel and Jett with the picturesque green and golf cart in the background.
We are deeply grateful to our corporate sponsors for their incredible support. Their partnership helped make this year’s event a tremendous success and enables us to continue our mission of providing exceptional guide dogs to people with vision loss.
