Financial Services Company, Mastercard, upholds a commitment to “Doing Well by Doing Good.” Guiding Eyes was the beneficiary of that philosophy recently when Mastercard was one of the corporate sponsors for our September WAGATHON fundraiser. Their sponsorship culminated October 25th in a volunteer day on our Yorktown campus, as employees from Mastercard hailing from around the world, brought their enthusiasm and desire to make a difference by rolling up their sleeves together.
The day began with coffee and cute puppies. Appreciative Guiding Eyes staff mingled with the visitors, who paused for an occasional photo with a cuddly pup. The group was welcomed by Guiding Eyes President and CEO, Thomas Panek and Director of Donor Relations, Rebekah Cross. The day’s activities involved everything from crate building and painting to dog baths and treat preparation.
We are grateful to Mastercard for their continuing support of our mission and thank Guiding Eyes Board Member Sue Kelsey, Executive Vice President, Global Segments Lead, Data & Services, and Guiding Eyes volunteer Greg Boosin, Executive Vice President, Product and B2B Marketing, for their dedication and coordination of their teams.
