Mount Kisco Country Club teed off its 2015 golf season by honoring 45 year member Al Maiolo, whose contributions to the club and to the community are too numerous to list. Guiding Eyes has been the beneficiary of Al’s support for 38 years.
Al has served on the Golf Classic Committee since the event’s inception in 1977. Many of the Classic’s sponsors participate because of his undeniable sales acumen and sincere support of the Guiding Eyes’ mission. He has always been paramount to maintaining the integrity of the Corcoran Cup, and can name nearly every blind golfer that has competed over the event’s history.
Few organizations have such a stalwart leader and friend as does Guiding Eyes in Al Maiolo. We are forever grateful to Al to for his boundless energy, his “the sky-is-the-limit” belief in the Golf Classic’s potential and his unwavering devotion to expanding opportunities for individuals with vision loss.
