National Estate Planning Awareness Week: FreeWill

At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, we’re dedicated to helping people who are blind or have vision loss gain independence, confidence, and freedom through their remarkable bonds with our exceptional guide dogs. Your goodness and dedication make this life-changing work possible. Thank you!

In honor of National Estate Planning Awareness Week, we are pleased to introduce a new resource for our community. As a friend of Guiding Eyes, we are offering you a free estate planning tool from our partner, FreeWill.

If you do not already have a will in place, this easy-to-use tool will help you create one in just 20 minutes at no cost, or simply update your existing will. This will ensure that your loved ones and cherished causes are protected for generations to come.

You’ll also have the option to include a legacy gift to Guiding Eyes in your plans. While there’s no obligation to do so, know that your generosity will help us provide guide dogs to future generations of people completely free of charge. We hope you’ll take this essential step to empower more people to navigate the world with confidence, while you create a lasting legacy. If you have already made a will and included a gift to Guiding Eyes please let us know so we can thank you for making us a part of your legacy and invite you to join our Pathfinders Society!

If you have any questions about this resource, feel free to contact Kathleen A. O’Reilly, Planned Giving Officer, at koreilly@guidingeyes.org, or by phone at 914-243-4355.
