We are pleased to share with you another podcast from Catherine Fenlon, her 3rd highlighting Guiding Eyes. Currently a junior in high school, Catherine was introduced to podcasting in an after-school multimedia workshop and has chosen to focus on raising awareness for the organization. 

Catherine and her parents are the fosters of brood Juniper, a yellow Lab, and stud Ralphie, a black Lab. In Catherine’s third podcast, Guiding With Love, “Puppy Raising with Mindy and Emily Lipsey”, her guests are Ralphie’s puppy raisers, mother and  daughter Mindy and Emily. They gave Ralphie his start as a puppy in our Baltimore region, before he joined the Guiding Eyes Breeding Colony.  Mindy’s oldest son is a guide dog user, so they were very familiar with the life-changing difference a guide dog could make, not only in the life of a person with vision loss, but also in their family’s.

Guiding Eyes is grateful for the commitment of this new generation of volunteers, like Catherine and Emily, who with their families, support the Guiding Eyes mission and make a profound difference in the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired.
