On Saturday March 5, 2022, members of the Guiding Eyes community gathered online for a virtual celebration. Between mid-September 2021 and mid-January 2022, a special group of individuals with vision loss joined, or returned to, our community to begin a partnership with their new guide dog. We celebrated not only those 15 Residential and 22 Home Training guide dog teams, but also the puppy raisers, brood stud fosters, volunteers, donors and staff, who cherish their connection to these exceptional dogs. We continue to be grateful for their dedication and compassion, as their support helps to build the connections that give people with vision loss increased independence, freedom and confidence.
